Glad to hear Mr Boyce is doing fine and ok, Now things are getting way out of control in and around Lancaster, and I think it's time for the laws to change too, use a gun go directly to jail, no probation, no plea bargains, straight directly to jail, not even a trial unless there is someone else involved that got shot by the shooter.

These young punks have gotten totally out of hand, and need to be taught a lesson, what's the world coming too. When I was these fools age, we never thought about carrying a gun, let alone owning one, and we certainly weren't shooting at other people, and if there was a problem we took care of it with our fists, not with weapons, and after the fight was done it was over period. And if todays kids are fighting over drugs, there were more drugs back in the day, then there are today and you never heard of people getting shot over them or at least not as much or if any, as what's going on today.

The sad part is most of the shooters that are getting caught are at least 19 and under of age, which is real sad, plus their actions reflect what a lousey job their parents did raising them, and I think a lot of the kids today were born to the kids of yesteryear, meaning the ole kids having kids story of years ago, well the products of those kids are what were seeing today in my opinion and they've had no good up bringing at all except for the TV and there gang buddies, and the thugs on the streets.

I'm glad he is alright also, but what concerns me is his attitude. The reason it happens more and more is because of people like him that allow this to happen. He didn't mind calling 911 when he was shot, but only grabbed his "belly buster" instead of a phone to call 911 about a shootout. I guess his belly was more important then the neighborhood he lives in

My exact same thoughts, Grumpy. If you are going to gripe that the world (or your neighborhood) is going to hell, then you need to do whatever you can to help correct it. If you don't like the way tweens and teens act, volunteer -- boys & girls club, scouts, big brothers/big sisters, etc. Be a role model, instead of the person sitting on the front porch yelling "get off my lawn, you punks" and griping that "someone needs to do something". Just look in the mirror and see the someone who needs to do something. If you aren't part of the solution, you are a part of the problem.


Maybe he thinks it would have gone in the front of his head if he hadn't turned around, and that may have been more dangerous? Who knows

I'm very glad he is ok, I lived right around the corner for years.
But...Its been about a week or so now, do you think the guy could maybe wash the "curtains" (looks more like a bed sheet) of the blood by now?
