Anyone who thinks its that simple is just deluding themselves. McCain has baggage as well, as for Palin.....there's enough back-stabbing dealings with her to write a soap opera about. You better believe McCain didn't get all his "experience" by being a choir boy either.
In my opinion the reason the republican party got into this mess is by people who can't see beyond the word " Conservative". They think if someone is a conservative than they are doing what is right. Unfortunately, that isn't true and because of those beliefs they have given some very unethical people full rein to do what they want. Hence the mess we are in.
With the recent bail out of wall street and the buy out of AIG we have just handed a great deal of our banking system, our homes, land, and businesses, and our health care to the government. Considering how much Bush and company have taken away from us in terms of privacy, I know we're going to be sorry.

I was thinking the same thing. How responsible are Sarah Palin and John McCain for the hate they are spreading? How much hate and fear are they spreading to get their point across. I was talking with someone who told me that Obama is going to take down the United States. They were talking about socialism at its best. The racial undertones are clear in all of this and the hateis all based on fear. I am happy that Joe Biden was picked as a Vice Presidemt, he has the ability to lead if something unfogivable were to happen and barack is killed.
I do not understand the fear that the United States has for change, but Barack Obama is willing and able to take on a difficult job at a difficult time and the right wingers are scared he may be able to do a good job.
