Ah yes, there are women who can be attacked and demeaned publicly on an ongoing basis and NOW won't lift a finger to come to their defense. Paula Jones files a sexual harrassment lawsuit and then President Clinton sent out his hatchetman Carvel out on TV to suggest that "one can drag $100 bills through trailer parks, there's no telling what kinds of things you'll find". Slap the little woman around a little, show her who is boss.
I remember seeing the president of NOW on TV at the time just absolutely not able to bring herself to question what just happened much less condemn it. But they're here for Lois Herr in her time of need. Are they there for women who really need a hand and there aren't political points to be scored?

Abortion is murder, plain and simple. Do not veil it in some PC "freedom of choice" cloak.

Wow, the great humanist has spoken. I'm sure those pro-choicers are so humiliated. The moral authority just leaps from the screen.

Lets see if NOW puts alot of money where their mouth is when it comes to helping Lois Herr. I would be surprised if they or Emily's List kick in any real support for Herr. Since they only seem to back what they think is a sure thing like Sam Bennett from the Pa. 15th in 2008, some sure thing she turned out to be. She lost her azz big time with tons of money from them. Now is the time for national womens groups to strike and strike hard against Pitts. Pitts name went national with his amendment and with that, a campaign against him should go national too. NOW should be running ads against him and pouring money into the Herr campaign. They should give Pitts two black eyes a bloody nose and when he starts to stumble kick him when he's down. They should be sending a national message to any more Pitts like politicians, that they will get the same too. In the end, even if Herr has no chance of winning, Pitts will never want to run again either.
