"Schweers is already on probation for an April conviction on drug charges, court records show."

Here's an insurance question.

Tonight I saw the clip regarding this incident on WGAL. The owner of the wrecked red car was interviewed (a Darrenkamp) and admitted that she left the keys in the ignition overnight. (DUMB)

Anyway, can the insurance company deny her claim as a result of leaving the keys in the ignition?

I am not an insurance agent, but I have been told by my company that if our vehicle were to be stolen, and we did not have the alarm on, they could deny the claim. So take that for what it is worth.
Actually, my experience with ANY insurance company is this. They want to pay out as little as possible. So if they can get out of paying a claim, they will.......
