Is it just me or is anyone else concerned about the lack of detail? I would like specific examples of local ordinances that have placed unnecessary burdens on farmers. It seems as though the Gov. has a problem with our system of government in PA and would like to give the state more power to override local government as he did with the gambling bill. This thing stinks of special interest.

I guess that's the problem I have with ACRE is the creation of yet another bureaucracy and shifting more power away from local governments. Wouldn't a simple law requiring all municipalities to assess the impact on farms for all ordinances be more effective. Money from Growing Greener could be used to fund challenges by family owned farms against unfair local ordinances. Anything to keep the problem in the existing framework of government and laws.
