Only 5??!! This is tough, but here goes.

1. The Who. I missed their final tour in 81 cause Mom wouldn't let me go, missed their final tour in 89 due to the impending birth of daughter #1, so their final tour(sans John Entwistle) in 02 was more than worth the wait.

2. Prince at the Bryce Jordan Center in 04. The man can PLAY

3. The Eagles last winter- they seemed to be having a great time on stage together.

4. Neil Young/CSNY. Neil never "phones it in"

5. George Thorogood-that's for hubby-he's seen George 6 times to my paltry 2

Also kudos to Donnie Iris(these easterners don't get it)

Greatest concert week-saw Journey and Billy Joel within a 6 day span while student teaching and having walking pneumonia!

okay, here's my top five concerts:
In reverse order,

5. Foghat/Sweet, Hersheypark Arena, 1978...you never forget your first time.

4. Blue Oyster Cult, Memorial Hall, York Fairgrounds, around ''78 or nine. stood 10 feet from
the stage for two hours...outstanding!

3. Anderson, Wakemann, Bruford, and Howe, City Island, Harrisburg, 1989 or '90. Former
members of Yes played the whole "Fragile" album. Looked like a reunion of old
hippies
2. Phil Keaggy, LMHS fine arts center, around '93 or so. Didn't want to go; forced to by
my wife. glad I went; hands down the finest rock guitarist alive today.

1. Us Festival, 1983. Three days...David Bowie, Clash, INXS, Van Halen. 300,000 people.
I should write a book some day about that weekend, before I forget much more of it.

That was one fantastic concert! I'd love to see them again and I loved City Island as a concert spot.

5-Zepplin-Spectrum-early 70`s.You don`t expect me to remember exact dates do you?

4- Uriah Heep-Farm show-saw them 2 different years- see above.

3- Blue Oyster Cult & Manfred Mann-Hershey-again,see above

2- Emir Deodato-Vally Forge-75 or 78.

1- Tower of Power & War-Vally Forge- 89 or so

1a- Tower of Power-Chameleon club in good old downtown Lancaster 90something
Deodato was pure music. No smoke and flash.Just six guys playing their hearts out.The guitar players name was John Tropia, best I`ve ever heard live.

Tower has been in my top 3 favs since the 70`s.To hear them in that small club,in my home town was out of this world.Tower is a large, powerful band. They couldn`t even fit on the stage. They blew the walls out .

Chet,
Foghat was a good band, but I liked where they came from much better.Savoy Brown, ever hear them?
