The legislators sure didn't have any trouble passing their pay raise legislation in July. It was quick, efficient and without any "poison pill" ammendments. Is it a surprise that the repeal of those obscene pay raises is not progressing as smoothly?

I do not doubt this is because the ones who don't want to repeal have probably already spent the extra money on a newer vacation home or boat.

All they have to do is let it sit there until Wednesday and than let it die. Now they can say before the election that they tried to make it right. I will be surprised if we hear much more about this legislation.
