Tell that to Lizzie Borden's parents! I think that humanity, or our little slice of it, has not become more murderous. I think that we are much more likely to hear about it, thanks to increasingly efficient means of communications. That said, whether I'm right, or you are, the tragedy is no less.

I have a feeling I'm going to get slammed for this...but....why do people need to keep rifles and handguns where anyone but the licensed owner has access to them? Why do people need to keep numerous guns anyway? I don't get it.
