"Because we are afraid of being PC, getting sued or having a group like the ACLU come after us because they feel others rights are being violated. The times you talk about are times I'm very familar with, and the excite of doing something that wasn't permitted was fun. I too knew of kids the were killed... most of them in Vietnam.

We didn't have all the little toys and communication devices the kids have to day, we actually sat down and talked face to face. We didn't have super structure events from the time we were 4 years old. Our parents knew the neighbors and when little Johnny was bad a conversation between the parents not the police got things resolved.

We have not created a worst life for our kids, they just have the means of being influenced at the speed of electronics."

Then as now, parents lamented about "kids these days". They worried about outside influences and tried to control their kids' music, clothing, and media exposure. But the reality is that boredom and the desperate adolescent search for self esteem and acceptance were far greater influences and likely still are. That's what led to us throw all sense out the window.

I found this on the Court TV message board. I wonder why our local Lancaster papers didn't pick this up? I wonder why the 3rd Night Patrol member, Alita Stoner was not charged with at least criminal trespassing? She was involved as along with Sam Lohr but no charges.

Good Information. It looks as though the DA doesn't like to charge women at least not in this case. I'm not sure how secluded the properties are on saywood drive but where they are is right in town however it could be like Ludwigs house. If your this Jon guy you are breathing easier now that David is behind bars however Sam and Alita are still out.

[quote name='taxpayer17578' date='Dec 20 2005, 12:18 AM' post='149874'] According to the article, Alita Stoner was trespassing as well (and it said all three of them had guns, yet only Sam & David were on the video -- I guess she was the camera person). You'd think they'd at least get her for criminal trespass???

This whole "protect the young girls" thing sets a TERRIBLE example! Kara Borden knew David was bringing guns to her home to confront her parents, yet she didn't mutter even, "Please don't shoot my parents"?!?!?!? The DA says she didn't say yes and she didn't say no. She should at least be charged with conspiracy or something.

If these two girls were boys, I think they'd be charged. C'mon Lancaster County... set an example!

My thoughts exactly.

While we are at it what about David R. for obstruction of justice. He deleted everything for David L. so that any information wouldn't be found. I think they just wanted to keep the case air tight and it seems like they are looking to send a message to everyone through making sure David get the death penalty.
