Geographic borders on the islamic murder cult? Please ... you can't be so naive to believe that our military killing an estimated 35,000 to 50,000 "foreign fighters" (so far) in Iraq is not in the best interests of the safety of all Americans.

Correction - encouraging of limited government by allowing social organizations (of which churches others than Christian are included) to do the work for which they are founded. Discouraging such social organizations is detrimental to a community, and only encourages larger government and disassociative service within a socialistic structure.

Additionally, the larger socialist government uses the Democrat Party to deliver these social services in return for votes, while promoting class warfare between the haves and have-nots. Textbook socialism/communism.

I am always amazed at the level of paranoia displayed against Christians by non-Christians ... as if the Christians are just itching to organize another crusade and murder non-believers. History has proven time and time again that a civilization which can govern itself without the need for large intrusive government does NOT commit violence against its' own people in order for the government to remain in power. Genocide can only occur by government decree.

We seem to have gotten off on a tangent here, courtesy of Mr. Eberly's service in the Bush Administration. My only comment to all of you regarding that is: eventhough this Administration has done quite a few things that many may not agree with, this president has basically followed through on what he said he would do, like it or not, which is a radical departure from the previous Administration and most everyone associated with it. I believe that he is the right person at the right place, at the right time in history for this nation. Whatever one's beefs with Bush may be, it is a disservice to hold that against Mr. Eberly.

Having said that, now back to the subject at hand here--Mr. Eberly v Mr. Pitts. This is rather simple; Mr. Pitts has broken his word. Mr. Pitts, while having done a reasonably good job on behalf of me and my fellow constituents, is intending not to follow up on a promise that he made. While anyone is entitled to change their mind, this issue is not one which I believe merits his breaking his promise to me.

Concerning Mr. Eberly, I just hope that he isn't part of the snarky, greasy political machine that the East Hempfield members of the Republican Committee and the powers-that-be in the East Hempfield Twp Office are a part of!
