Sometimes we forget the tragedy of the kids who remain. How in the world do they have a functional relationship going forward? I mean if you are the brother, how do you look your younger sister in the eye and understand her actions? I am not talking- nor speculating- about her involvement, but more about her staying with a guy who obviously played with less cards than the rest of us. How do you reconcile that your sisters illegal and boneheaded relationship led directly to your parents death? I kno wyou wan tto hug her and say all is ok, but it has to be like driving drunk and hitting and killing your own parents in an accident. You want to kill your sibling, but at the same time you want to make everything ok. Tough stuff. My prayers, wishes, and thoughts go out to the kids.

I found this story to be in decent taste unlike some stories about this funeral. I was very upset to see the pictures from AP of Kara at the service beside her sister and even more upset to see they actually photographed all of the children seated in front of one casket at the cemetary...

Still thinking of these kids every day, especially Kara. What must be going through her mind? I pray for them but I want to do more.......
