Just out of curiosity, has anyone seen anything recently about this case in the national media? Some of these types of stories get perpetuated on shows like Nancy Grace and Greta Van Susteren, and Catherine Crier, but I haven't heard anything lately. Seems like the national interest died down. I'm also surprised that we haven't seen anything from Dateline or 20/20 or the like. Maybe they'll be doing something after the trial is over.

I am not trying to be sarcastic or naive here, but maybe this is just a now-rare instance when no one even remotely connected to the case wants to be on TV speculating about people they knew and cared about or simply whose privacy they respect. You have to admit that some of the people we see on shows like the ones you name are clearly interested in getting their mugs on TV, never mind that their remarks are in poor taste, speculative, and add absolutely nothing to the discussion. And perhaps anyone who may have testimony to add in Ludwig-related legal proceeding is just self-controlled and decent enough to share their comments only in the proper forum.

I have the feeling that this will be swept under the rug. No trial. Limited coverage.

If there is a trial; it will be delayed, and delayed, and delayed, etc., etc., etc.. Out of sight. Out of mind. There will be limited follow-up on this. Just another story that died in Lancaster County. Like the Convention Center. (how's that Artie ?)

I think it would be great if that were true. It gets old sometimes, everyone who has even a 10th degree of seperation from some of these things wants to be on TV.

I agree - this is really rare but what a concept!! In most of these situations it doesn't even take someone to be a 10th degree separated, people will just lie to be a part of the action. The only person/source I feel so far that has tried to cash in on this is that action report thing - I didn't "become a member" and from what I hear it was really nothing anyway. I'm a bit awe-struck by this community and individuals who are involved in this or know something more than what's been published. The Ludwig's statement included a plea to please let each family and the authorities take care of this - maybe this struck a cord with people because this is all so sad for both families. I feel a bit bad I'm so curious........................I think I have decided to wait for the trial now (although it has been fun to read new comments each day!!) If I were in this community and knew these families or had some info, I wouldn't exploit it but I would still want to talk to my friends and family about it. This is what's wierd cuz even just talking to f&f, info leaks out - but nothing??
