dogs shouldn't eat "soft" dog food anyway. They should have the solid chunks to clean their teeth better.

Funny, we like to feed our dogs things like rice and corn, something they definately would never eat in the wild (unless by some chance they came across a big pile of it somewhere). What we feed dogs, and what dogs would eat in the wild, are two drastically different things.

All I was trying to find was a freaking list of the foods... so many of the pictures show bags of dog food and it looks like it's not the bagged dog food at all.

I couldn't tell if this was deception on the part of the news agencies, or plain supidity. I don't think i give them enough credit to actually try to intentionally pull a fast one like that.

I agree, we only used the soft stuff if we are trying to hide medication. Although I've had one of our dogs lick completely clean the bowl and the pill! This last time I hid it in a peanut butter sandwich.

what do ya think they do with all those dead farm animals around here, bury them?

they make them into dried pet food folks.

LOL, Actually there is a seminar about this tomorrow at Shady Maple. It is now costing farmers about $100 to dispose of large farm animals because there are so many restrictions on their use even for pet food. 20 years ago farmers were selling their dead animals. The seminar is on how they can compost the carcasses. Great lunchtime conversations I'm sure.

I've had that too. Peanut Butter with the pill in the roof of his mouth has worked best. Also have cut off a chunk of hot dog, and stuck the pill in there. I think my dog will figure it out if i do the same thing, so i try to mix it up on him when i need to.

I use a can of EZ Cheese. Easier to apply and they eat it just like peanut butter!
