Many recent appliances have a delay feature. My wife and I set our dishwasher to wash between 3-6 AM, or a load of laundry around the same time. Small bit, I know, but if you can do so, why not?

this is going to sound nuts but Gee only 6.8 % I know this is the one to get us all ready for the big one on January 2010

well I started buying all them compact fluorescent light bulbs.
next I guess will be a some kind of wood or gas stove.

What's really sad is, "Competition will lower rates". The same thing happened with the telephone industry. Everybody's bills got higher.
