I fail to see a couple of things:
What "sport" is there in a commercial hunt?
Who's stupid enough to pay to "hunt" a pig, after butchering, I'm sure it's cheaper to buy it at the grocery store, where at least you know the buggers aren't munching on castor bean plants or something just as bad. (Yes, I know the beans themselves are almost always fatal).
And finally, what the hell kind of community would allow a commercial pig hunting operation? I swear, you need a zoning exception to fart these days, and everybody's all NIMBY this, and NIMBY that.
The former owners of these pigs should be pretty easy to track down, why isn't somebody fining the pants off of them?

Along with a feral pig problem in Australia, there's a problem with a certian frog IIRC, this problem can only be diminished at best, contained at worst if something is done, it will never be solved.

One example: have preserves certify that any hogs brought into the state are free of disease.

How about requiring these operations to document and microchip all their animals for traceability?

What would currently happen if a diseased animal was encountered?
