I even liked the first one! I hope the 2nd one is just as good or better. Disney did a great job with this all around. Good story, good singing, good actors/actresses (who aren't drinking, doing drugs, etc.). So far, the cast members are turning out to be good role models for kids/tweens. Ashley Tisdale just had a birthday party (I think she turned 22) and the tabloids reported there was NO alcohol at her party. My kid can't wait for Friday night - going to a friend's house for a party and to watch the movie.

I'm glad I'm not the only adult anticipating the movie! I don't know how many times we watched the first one. Just hope the kids don't misbehave so I have to take the tv away!
I actually like all the shows on the Disney Channel geared toward the older kids. We don't watch the preschool shows anymore, but I have no problem with the kids watching anything on that channel

I thought the first one was great. The following video is on my fav list. It's a speeded up version of "you gotta believe" mouthed by a brother and sister. They are adorable and I get a big kick out of their interaction - very cute.

Both my girls LOVE High School Musical!!! I have watched the entire movie once or twice; however, due to the fact that they watch it many times and listen to the CD many times, I practically have the entire movie memorized. I do appreciate the fact that it is a musical that is well written and "clean" enough for my two young daughters to watch. We are leaving for the beach this week, so my daughter was stressing until we assured her that we will make sure that we are in front of the TV on Friday night to watch it.......
