While doing taxes I've been told that parents who lose custody of their children through children and youth, are still required to pay support (not sure if this is accurate) so one would think that it makes sense that the parent would be required to keep them on their health care plan if they are incarcerated as well....
The problem arises when the child needs treatment at the detention center in Lancaster, but the family doctor is located in Adamstown.
