12-20 million is hardly a "bunch" and they don't need to be organized.

Well that is what you alluded to with their "agenda" and "cultuera stuff" You make it seem like they all had a meeting and decided to come over here and spread the hispanic culture.

it's in in the constitution...

It can still be changed.

Let me get this straight. In regards to health insurance, we are one of the few industrialized countries that does not have universal health insurance therefore we should adopt universal health insurance.

However, we are also one of the few industrialized countries who allow humans born here to have citizenship and we shouldn't change that. Most other industrialized nations require at least 1 parent to be a citizen or legal immigrant before granting new born children citizenship.

I think I got it.

Now i hope your husband is that genourous with his employees, since he owns his own business and all. Or is that just the pot calling the kettle black?

I know my husband would never break the law by hiring an illegal alien. He has one free lance employee and he is very careful to keep track of his salary for the 1099 at the end of the year. No way he would risk an IRS tax audit for some criminal. If our Govt passes a decent healthcare plan we could afford to hire som more employees which we desperately need but can not afford to insure. Another problem is there are very few people trained in what my husband does. Unfortunately high school does not adequately prepare students for the IT world and many do not realize the wonderful opportunities in college courses in computer technology and cold fusion developement. I know as part of our team I would be a very good employer. We are a bit luckier though because our employees can work from home so I wouldn't have to crack a whip with bad weather and such bcause I would never force anyone to drive in the snow to get to work.

There is no law that you must provide health insurance for your employees. It is very possible, that hiring an employee could SAVE you money. You complained about your expensive insurance but if you had a 2 person group you could get a small business health plan that would be much cheaper then what you currently have and would cover more of your medical care and you would not be excluded for any pre-existing conditions.

Not to get off on a tangent, but I think you and husband are missing out on a gret opportunity for recruiting employees. Your focus shouldn't be on high school grads. That is like a hospital complaining that high schools aren't training enough doctors. In our immediate area there is a great computer science program at Millersville. I'm sure F&M and E-town are churning out Computer Science grads as well. Thats who you want doing any kind of major cold fusion or significant programming work. Not high school kids. In addition, hiring a kid as intern from one of these Comp. Sci. programs would be cheap and you wouldn't have to worry about benefits. There are plenty of qualified kids around here, but as soon as they graduate from college they leave because noone here has those types of jobs to offer.
