I know I have said this before but I ran into someone at church and again was laughing over the SEVEN hour a day work schedule. That is just so very funny!
I wonder if Saylor is aware of how outrageous that comment was after she made it.....

If there is money left at the end of the year, it should go directly back to the students. THE STUDENTS, NOT YOUR POCKETS !!!!!

What do you mean, back to the students? How about back to the taxpayers? Or applied toward next year's budget. It is an interesting concept that excess public funds go to the administration. I will admit to having no knowledge of how widespread this practice is. Does anyone here actually know? There is the possibility that this is what's normally done.
I think it's important that we as voters take a good, hard look at all the candidates for school board because I'm guessing human nature being what it is, the reformers are not all saints either.

The one i was refering to was the "recruiting" of a boy from York, his father and him moved to an Appt in MC while his mother and other family members stayed in York. You cannot recruit players in PIAA. Now i'm sure they can think of many excuses for that but in my book that just looks alittle shady. If the whole family moved thats one thing but....

That was all the father's doing. The two brothers/troublemakers (name slips my mind Jeremiah something) Both kids came from York High to MC, and then ended up transferring out and finishing their HS careers at Harrisburg High. I can tell you that these kids weren't recruited by MC. I'm not a big Mike Williams fan but he doesn't recruit kids. These kids were products of an obsessed father that thinks his kids are NFL bound!

Thank you for the clarification. All of what you said is exactly on the money. I did not want to initially answer this, and turn the thread into a high school football rant.........

Let me explain myself Nativeson,
When I said back to the students, I meant give the extra money to help educate all students. Do teachers have all the books they need? No, requests are denied. Do students have to pay for courses at the high school. Yes, it is not in the budget. Do teachers have the supplies they need week to week? No, they pay for it out of there own pockets. All that bonus money could have helped our teachers and the students. That's what I meant.
