The word around town is that the PA Dog Breeders Association is paying Zimmerman's legal defense, and the defense of Elvin High, who is facing cruelty charges for the second time. That is why Zimmerman's lawyer is some dirtbag from Philly.
Nevermind that on their website the PA Dog Breeders Association claims that they support doing business in an ethical manner and following all PA laws and regulations. How does that match up with paying the legal defense for someone who was previously convicted of animal cruelty but lied to get a kennel license like Elvin High? And how does that match up with paying the legal defense for a guy who neglected to get his animals vet care and had dead, decaying rodents in their cages (which is in violation of PA kennel rules and regulations)?
Sadly, by not standing up for themselves, any reputable breeders who are part of this association are now in bed with these convicted animal abusers.

The PA Dog Breeders Association is not much better than the flat-out Puppy Mills. They are bent on preserving their rights to mass produce puppies. They do not care about pet-overpopulation and the heartbreak forced upon unwanted dogs, or the shelters that try to serve these unwanted dogs, by cleaning up after the breeeders. If the PA Dog Breeders is funding this disgusting puppy mill owner's legal defense then they are equally disgusting.

Zimmerman needs to be Vick's cellmate for 2 years. Maybe then he and the rest of the puppy factory owners here will "get it."

That's an excellent idea, GeezUs.
