Boy! I don't know where that guy buys his gas and I don't want to know where he buys his beer.
1 case = 24 12 oz bottles.
24*12 oz = 288 oz.
288 oz = 2.25 gallons.

I pay around $17 for a case of beer. If I'm feeling extra special, I'll spend $28 on some of the 'fancy' smirnoff bottles.
$17/case = $7.55~ gallon.

But I then again, I guess it may be possible to buy PBR or Natty Ice for $7 a case, in which case (no pun intended) it works out to be 3.11/gal for beer. If you're willing to call it beer.
I think I'd rather drink gasoline than cheap beer.

My college kid in the house saw the bumper sticker posted on his Face book - who knows what cheap stuff they drink. I don't drink beer any more, I don't drink it any less, either!!

I've never bought a KEG of beer, but I imagine it might be cheaper than gas this way?

About the freezing family- I'm about as bleeding a liberal as any, but c'mon, put on some long underwear and a sweater...

I remember people running around practically naked during winter during my pizza delivery days in Lancaste

I think you're right, beer by the keg is probably cheaper than gas. The product anyway, the method to store, cool and dispense it makes that pipe dream go away.
