If you want to know why we will never have tax reform in PA, just read Creighton's comments. It's all about scoring points for the party. The priorities are party first, people second. Both parties would prefer to forego reform if there is any chance the other party would receive any credit.

How right you are. Rep. Creighton is playing politics with property tax reform after he has made numerous public statements about the need for property tax elimination.

I am incensed that he voted for John Perzel's plan that only provides relief to seniors - seniors that are already receiving rebates for property taxes. I feel the same about the entire Republican delegation from Lancaster County who voted for John Perzel's Plan.

This is the same John Perzel, Philadelphia, liberal, pay raise architect, using campaign funds to attend the superbowl with his family, won't allow Harrisburg spending to be audited, says cow milkers are paid more than him.... and much more. His proposal has nothing do do with us; it has everything to restoring him to House Speaker.

Politics over principles. It seems to me that I need to reconsider my support of Tom Creighton and that we need to find a challenger in the district who will put principles before the politics of John Perzel and Tom Creighton.

Strange that the Democrats are more motivated to deal with the real problem of property tax reform than the Republicans that I have supported for many years.

Harrisburg - a filthy, stinking, cesspool of insiders more concerned about their jobs and power than the constituents they are supposed to represent.
