How nice. Where do the adults go who don't have the hundreds or thousands of dollars it takes to keep their teeth healthy. For adults fillings are antiquated. Every time we get a cavity they want root canal, crown or bridge. 1200 to 3000 dollars. I thought welfare included dental care? How about the adult bus??? Especially since the dentists in Lancaster love to nickel and dime adults to death. It is kind of like care inspection. You expect to pay $80 for a cleaning yet there is always something needs fixin even though it doesn;t hurt. Like everything else us middle classers wait til it is broken to fix it. I paid $200 for a filling which fell out after 6 months. Guess what, it doesn't hurt and there is nothing there which makes me believe i never had a cavity to begin with. Wish I had that money back.

Maybe if they have dental care and are taught good dental hygiene, they won't have fillings falling out of their teeth when they're older. Just a thought...............

I had fabulous dental care as a child. Mom even paid for 7 years of braces which of course turned me way off dentists from the get go. Then when I was on my own and had to pay for a dental visit with MY money, I decided going out to the bar or on a nice vacation was money better spent. SInce I've been married of course it is just like medical bills, as Americans we should not have have dental care be a luxury. It should be a right paid for by the govt for all. The fact that I ahve had the bad luck to go to TWO nickel and dimeing dentists who live like Kings makes me even less likely to go. SO we brush and floss and pray. I will tell you when my husbadn broke a tooth last year he called the dentist whose kids don;t shop at K-mart and told him point blank he was coming to have the tooth fixed in the cheapest way possible and he wanted no advice or "you really need a cleaning" bull. He went in and $50 later his tooth was fixed. Most dentists really can be crooks and you ahve to watch everything.
