... Our Christmas was so messed up without Joiey and worse having to spend it in a could lunch room with my baby! He gave me the 15.00 walmart card they gave him for christmas as my gift because he had nothing else. But being the artist my baby was he made me some beautiful ornaments and cards And he said "don't worry mom I'm doing this for us so we have the rest of our christmas' together, I'm gonna learn how to have a better life I promise!"
His birthday was monday his 2 mos anniversary was tuesday and christmas is yet to come! I MISS MY JOEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know.....
I wish I could help you feel less sad, but no one can. Everything is still so fresh for you... and a birthday, so close to it all... well, it certainly does not make it any easier. If you need someone to talk to, let me know.
Joey sounds wonderful... and like he most definitely had a chance to do something with his life. My prayers are with you (both).

OUR FOCUS SHOULD BE:

get rid of prone restraining and the DPW SHOULD

NOT BE RUNNING ANY TREATMENT CENTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they should fall under the exclusive umbrella of the dept of health.

AND WHERE THE HELL IS JCAHO and the private health insurers??

they should be on their backs too.

HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS-- their pocketbooks.
CLEANUP YOUR ACT-- SUMMMITQUEST, VISION QUEST, BOOT CAMPS ETC or we will shut you DOWN!!!
this rings so true... DPW- GET YOUR OWN HOUSE IN ORDER NOW OR YOU WILL HAVE MORE DEATHS. GET OUT OF THE TREATMENT CENTER BUSINESS TODAY!!!

My heart aches for your loss and pain. Despite his issues with being bipolar, it sounds like your son was a very loving, caring person. You did a good job raising him.
