Creighton said these statements could provide an "eye-opening experience" for someone who has a serious gambling addiction.
Monthly statements from one's favorite bar/lounge could provide an "eye-opening experience" for someone who has a serious alcohol addiction, too.

I thought the Democrats were the ones for the "Nanny State"? I guess its the Repubs, they are always the ones telling us what we should or shouldn't be doing according to what the Bible says. What ever happened to personal responsibilty??

This would in no way infringe on anyone right to throw away their mortgage or their children's milk money. This is zero way controls the average gambler. Rather it calls on communication only. Any conclusion you have with regard to the judgment of moral or not is your conscience only

Nannyism is government that regulate the behavior of citizens. ie... no swimming in the creek, wear seat belt etc...don't smoke outdoors in the park etc...

Then the postman can knock twice and forward it to the homeless shelter. With the amount of money the state charges for licensing and taxation of that industry they ought to be mailing out the statements. I can't stand people who run games of chance for profit and anyone else who has their hands in the operator's pockets. Sorry. I know I'm the oddball here.
