Senate floor is unlikely stop on McCain's campaign trail

- The Hill 3/5/08

at least he will be consistant...

last year....mccain missed 56.7% of the votes in the senate...

Yes and the new Prohibition is the smoking ban(sorry Lysol) which brigns the government into private business decisions in order to "protect the innocent".
Every time someone has a religious or eew factor in their life they run to the government for help. Look how many want to ban abortion even though it is a proven fact at least here in Lancaster, where by the way you can not get an abortion unless you can afford a train ticket, that abortion is down. People are not using it as a form of birth control yet lets change the law to make religious conservatives feel better. Again just once I would like to see a woman drop a baby off on one of their doorsteps and say"you wanted me to have it, now you raise it."
When the government interfers in morality, we come very close to the muslim extremists we fight against that want to destroy "our way of life". I never understood how prohibition came about but I know it did not work and I am looking forward to the day when I can walk into a "smoke easy" and by a carton of ILLEGAL cigarettes from a mob boss for $10. It's coming and soon that is how we will get our fattening foods as well. I can just see the teenager sick of all the state mandated health food in their school cafeteria running to the local pub for a good ole fashioned state sanctioned hamburger.

That's quite a hurdle. Have to invest $50 just to get rid of that worthless fetus.

why would a libertarian vote for obama? he has the most liberal voting record in the senate.

Liberal and libertarian are not synonymous Joe.

I don't think Obama wants to dismantle the IRS.

I think a train ticket to Philly costs more than that but you are forgetting that insurance companies do not pay for abortions so tack another $500 plus on to that.

I have a choice between 3 liberals. Obama has the best experience in the race. None.
