Good for Conoy. It will create jobs and revenue for the economy.

Yeah, jobs and money. Screw the environment. Thousands of gallons of 90 degree water. It's practically manna from Heaven. Starting a white elephant zoo there, eh? Maybe a radio tube facility next?
Sad that Conoy is so poor they must jump at whatever comes along. At least two knew better. The river, and the water in it, are not owned by Conoy. Our river is to suffer another insult, for money.

Whirlwind
Heaven forbid we allow an industry that will make us money. We should all live in the land of unicorns and lollipops where money doesn't exist and teh economy runs on gumdrops.

Wake up people. We need jobs and industry here. Will it last forever? Probably not. But 50 years ago, I bet Bethlehem thought the steel mill would be there forever as well. Nothing is permanent - so lets make do with what we can when we can.

I applaud Conoy Twp. for having the guts to think about their people's well being and not giving in to the ignorance of a vocal minority.

Best quote in the entire article (IMO):

" That left the decision in the hands of Mohr, who said the board "is not deciding whether ethanol is good or bad, only if the application meets the requirements of this township." "

Exactly, Mr. Mohr. Thank you for showing professionalism at your post, and not letting emotions cloud your duty.
