EAST PETERSBURG: A 16-year-old East Petersburg boy who allegedly threw snowballs at a school bus stop on Feb. 25 has been charged with propulsion-of-missiles as the snowballs struck a vehicle driven by a Lancaster woman, Manheim Township police said. The incident happened at 3:24 p.m. after the 16-year-old got off a school bus at Carpenter and Stevens streets, police said. The boy has been charged through the Juvenile Court system, police said.
Am I glad that I never got caught as a kid throwing snow balls. If I had a dollar for every thing that I threw a snow ball at between the ages of 10 and 16, I probably would not have to work.......

The kid was charged with propuslion of missles? What exactly does the speed have to be to make it a missle? Couldn't just put it in the law books as throwing a snowball??

How sad. Big brother is now punishing snow-ball throwing kids through the courts and juvenile systems. No wonder kids are snapping and killing - there is no such thing anymore as just being stupid kids without the 800 pound intrusive government gorilla crushing their spirits 24/7. Just another sign of creeping socialism, cradle to grave.

I'm glad I grew up in an earlier generation.
