At this point, I agree with you regarding the point about the racist politics.....a bit. In his ads he professes, "raised by single mother, then there was a pic of him and a male and female white family, I got confused..........He sure didn't grow up that poor, living in Hawaii, that's for sure. I can't even afford to vacation there yet........-

BigMac, you should go do some reading about his background and why he was living in Hawaii. His family didn't move their because they were loaded. He was raised with/by his mother till the time he started High School and then stayed with his grandparents when his mother moved to Indonisia. There was a really good article in Time a few weeks back about his mother and her family. Just a really good, non-biased article about what his mother was like. I will see if i can find it and post the link.

This isn't the article i was talking about but it does have quite a bit of information about him and his past

I liked him up until the Wright flap. He showed he has poor judgement

And hillary has showed good judgement? She was with bill longer than obama visited wright once a week.

The sermon was against hatred and excessive anger. Watch all 10 minutes of it, not the 5 seconds you saw on Fox noise.
Want more hatred and violence in the next 4 years, vote for McCain or Hillary. The blood of innocent Iranians will be on your hands, not mine.

That was very good, but one thing really does leave a sour taste in my mouth, cyberscribbler...........why the "white" and the "black"?? I wish that all of that could just stop......why the "straight"-why the "gay"......I believe that we are all here for the same reason............to follow a set of rules determined by many different sources, of course.........but everyone should be treated equally.....EVERYONE................I do agree with A LOT of what he has to say, I must admit....I like him minus that one fact..........

He also went to private schools and lived a life of priveledge.

Obama ain't never been no poor black man either. I seriously doubt that "Reverend" Wright was either.

Racism is ugly no matter what color it comes in.

there are many conflicting stories about his youth. It's hard to know which is true and which is being manipulated for political advantage.

From what I've gathered, his grandparents were not rich, when they were a young couple and his grandfather was fighting a war. However, since Obama is only 46, he went to live with them long after that time, after they had established themselves and he benefitted from them overcoming their early struggles that took them into a life of more comfortable surroundings.

Obama is a man full of contradictions and I see him as opportunistic and a distorter of the facts.

Not defending Clinton or McCain, just addressing what I've seen of Obama, so I'm not offering him up for comparison, just looking at his own actions.

It's all good..........if we tried hard enough.......we could tear every candidate, Republican and Democrat alike, to shreds............we must weigh the pros and cons and let our conscience be our guide.............
