Now you just said in the opening of your comment that you were "referring only to the Lancaster Newspapers coverage of the story" but yet just above here you say "Obama came here and told Repubs EXACTLY what they wanted to hear, etc..." READ MY LIPS --- HE DID BASH McCAIN!!!! He said the same thing here as the report stated but our local media did not report it. If you were there you would've heard it as well!
Can you not comprehend what you're reading/writing??!?!!

I'm wondering if you can comprehend what it is that I am trying to say......that's what the newspapers should have reported.....................cripes, get with the program....hee hee...........

My reading comprehension is actually pretty good. I don't think I'm the only one confused by your original post. You said nothing about Republicans. I can tell you are posting here only to slam Obama. Can't really tell exactly what it is you don't like about him. Have only seen vague rhetoric.

On the contrary, you are wrong.......I like a lot of what he has to say.....I just admire others tactics of presenting the news.........he's not a bad guy and I think none of the candidates has the experience that it takes to run this office they way that I would like to see it run.........that, is the truth...........He is a very nice guy-no ill feelings for him at all..........so to speak......i think you may be reading just a bit more than i actually intended. The core of my whole message actually lies in Lancaster Newspapers and not Obama.....per se........

You wrote these words "All I am saying is that Obama came here and told Republicans EXACTLY what they wanted to hear and NOTHING MORE such as his bashing on McCain like he did yesterday. "
That is saying NOTHING about the Lancaster reporting... YOU WROTE IT. We're not misreading anything. I understand they didn't report about it from Monday's Town Hall, but that's not what your initial post stated.

Unfortunately, for you the "un-evolved", will eventually become the obsolete.
So you display your hate and your desire to disenfranchise millions of people.

Given the fact that Iraq had no history of terrorist attacks on our soil, nor did they have the means or desire to do so, it doesn't take a genious to realize that invading Iraq could not have possibly prevent terrorist attacks on our soil.
Your kidding, right?

So you think he knows that these men and women would prefer to stay in Iraq and fight a losing war for the next 100 years?!?! I doubt it...

First off you don't know anymore than anyone else if the war is losing or winning war. All that you know is those small sound bytes the media gives all of us when something goes wrong. But of course it wouldn't be news worthy to tell you or show you some of the good things that are happening. I am sure he knows that they all prefer to be home with family and friends in the states. And I know first hand that I would much rather have my niece home here instead of sitting in Baghdad, Iraq. She has been there since 12/11/07. And my wifes step sister has just returned home from Iraq a few months ago. The 100 year sound byte you refer to was taken out of context. We may very well be in Iraq for up to 100 years, that is reality. There is a big difference of telling people just what they want to hear and telling them the real truth. Obama can not sit there and tell you he will start pulling troops out in 6 months and really mean it. These kind of plans will take many months just to be thought out beside being executed. As much as we all hate it, the real truth is we will be there for years (many years) no matter who becomes President. This war was mis-guided by Rumsfeld for years. Bush never had the balls to admit he was wrong keeping Rummy on board for as long as he did. And if I remember right it was McCain who was on Bush about Rumsfeld for a long time and said he should go. I also remember his saying that they needed more troops. Rather strange that once these things started to happen things got a little better in Iraq. It is also very easy for Obama to sit there and Saturday night quaterback about the war when saying McCain and Clinton were wrong in their vote, he didn't have to vote... did he???
Bush was wrong about getting us in to this war, I will give you that. But we are there now. Many lives have been lost and there will be more to follow. And I also agree that the war needs to come to an end. Sooner rather than later would be nice, but it must be done the right way or all hell will break loose. If you think it is bad now, it can and will get worse if this isn't handled right. McCain, Clinton or Obama will not know all the details until one of them becomes President. Only then can they truely tell you what they will be able to do to bring our men and women home!

Obama has been campaigning against McCain for awhile now. The 4th estate media is just beginning to report on it simply becasue it is now clear that the public is tired of the obama clinton fights. From a business standpoint this primary season has been the biggest money maker for media outlets in a long time. It is like a wave that they tried to make last as long as possible. But it is over now.

McCain is out choosing a running mate and Obama has to deal with this little yappy dog constantly snipping at his heels. It makes the whole party look bad.
