Dean, you need more than just not negotiating a curve to prove a case of Homicide By Vehicle. You will have to wait andsee what other evidence they find before you convict him.

Is there proper signage warning of the curve? Stuff like this has to be taken into consideration as well.....I don't know that area so I have no idea if there is a sign warning you of a dangerous curve. Is it a dangerous curve? A lot of questions that weren't addressed in the article...........

My understanding is a garbage truck struck and killed the young man walking along Rt. 230, and we all know how they, too, drive on their side of the road. Either way those involved will live with a lot of guilt whether an accident or negligence.

Dean, I don't know for sure, but I suspect you are not making the victims family feel any better with your harsh indictment of the driver. Accidents happen. Maybe a bee flew in the dump truck window and he reacted wrongly.

I am sure he is devestated enough.

Why not let the professionals handle the investigation before you start agitating for a lynch mob.
