By your logic here, it sounds as though you have no children. I would ask you; instead of sypathizing with the PERPETRATOR, to imagine a member of your family (your child if you do have one) in a video being raped. Now imagine how you would feel if a person were to tell you how "wonderful" the man was who helped to perpetuate the rape, then he watched and derived pleasure from it. That's the issue here. If he needs help then help he should receive, BUT, he should not be allowed anywhere near children and let's stop sugar coating it. He's NOT WONDERFUL and anyone who can say he is is a liar or just doesn't care about the children being raped in these videos! Either way I can't support either of them. you're right; they should have. However, training required to work in SAPCC is thorough and meets the requirements for the PA Coalition Against Rape. It is very clear what the Y's public policy positions are - there should be no question that they made the wrong choice. To blame the SAPCC training based on two employees is irresponsible - teachers are told all the time not to sleep with students, yet they do? Would you blame that on poor training as well? Or a truck driver driving tired or drunk - would that also be training related? YWCA has accepted their responsibility and taken corrective action to own up to their responsibility.
