Kev, you also asked this:

"Also, I was wondering this. Why do people out of state come to Lancaster County and set up 'Puppymill Awareness Day'? Have the residents of Lancaster County set up anything similar?"

In response, I posted a link to United Against Puppy Mills.

Well I obviously overlooked UAPM. SO who will be attending their next event?

What is so wrong with people coming from out of state to help bring awareness to the problem of puppy mills. If SOME residents are so unmoved or prefer to keep their heads in the sand, that what is the problem with others helping us. That makes no sense. Oprah lives in Chicago, does that mean she shouldn't get involved?

No one is saying that. Kev initially seemed to think that there were no local groups involved with the issue, and that isn't the case.

Puppy mills is a nationwide problem, not just a Lancaster County problem. Have you addressed the problem in your state?

Goldilocks
I sure have addressed it in my state, Goldilocks. I live in Lancaster County, PA.

I think anyone from any state can address it anywhere. It's a nationwide problem.
