This is so sad, and I am sorry to hear it. As I was riding my own motorcycle downtown on Saturday, I passed his restaurant and made a note to stop there some day. I had read the recent article about it opening and it sounded good. I didn't even know he was a motorcyclist.

Not very clear, but sounds like they were left-turned. Is this why there is an ugly burned spot on 999, near that Mennonite church?

I hope he was doing what he enjoyed most, in his final moments. And I hope his friend has no memory of his death.

Found out about this yesterday morning... sooo sad. I knew both of the riders, nice guys.
