Just about exactly one year since Sterling said they found some fraud in one of their subsidiaries. The fraud had been going on for years. Neither the company nor its audiors knew anything about it. The company wrote off a couple of hundred million dollars. Shareholders and employee retirement-plan holders lost big bucks. The company got sold. Now, half of the former Sterling people are going to get layed off. The subsidiary causing the problem had only a dozen or so employees. But, we still haven't found anyone to prosecute! I've said it before, there is something seriously wrong here! Just maybe, there are some very interesting people who knew about the matter a long time ago and tried to cover it up? Maybe some very interesting people were directly involved in the misconduct? This will all make for a very interesting story!
