A 26-year-old Cochranville man allegedly strangled his ex-girlfriend, hid her body at a Chester County dairy farm and then fled to Louisiana, Avondale state police said.

On Thursday, after an intensive four-day search, police found the body of 25-year-old Daicy Vasquez-Bedolla of Kennett Square.

The body had been concealed in a remote area of a dairy farm, located in the 1600 block of Bush Road in West Fallowfield Township.

The farm is less than a mile from the Octoraro Creek, the boundary of Lancaster and Chester counties.

Dr. Ian Hood from the Chester County Coroner's office said the woman had been strangled, and he ruled her death a homicide.

Mauricio Jose Bedolla-Camacho, 26, of 1827 Ross Fording Road, Cochranville, has been charged with criminal homicide in the woman's death, Avondale state police detectives said.

Bedolla-Camacho is an ex-boyfriend of the victim, and he worked at the farm where the body was found, investigators said.

U.S. Customs and Immigration officials arrested Bedolla-Camacho Wednesday in Orleans Parish, La., (New Orleans area) on an unrelated immigration violation.

Pennsylvania investigators traveled to Louisiana, interviewed Bedolla-Camacho, and on Thursday charged him with the woman's murder.
