Kudos to this local firm for taking such a positive and visible step toward greening the local environment. I visited a green roof in Chicago 5 years ago and was very impressed. I also understand that living roofs are now common for new commercial construction in Europe, where the history of this technique goes back for centuries. As a local green building consultant, I have been pleased to see the newspaper coverage on this as well as previous local green projects.
