A few years ago I was on Oprahs Book Club. This was the original one where you were with 3 other people, Oprah and the author in a closed setting discussing the book, eatting a gourmet dinner made by Art and just spending a relaxing afternoon. When the Oprah show contacted both Channel 8 and the Lancaster Newspapers neither had any interest in picking up the story. At the time I was the only person in all of Pennsylvania who had been selected for book club. Philadelphia and Baltimore picked it up as did my local weekly papers but not LNP.
I am glad for this woman that they have written about this. One because this is such a hard thing to go through and she can outreach to others and two because being picked for a show like this is an accomplishment. I hope she continues to improve!
