You're the brave one. No way would I do that.

There are a few poster I would like to meet, but you'll never see me at a come one, come all kind of thing. I'd be the one hiding behind the potted plant out of fear someone would take a poke at me.

Take a poke? All they'd have to do exhale and you'd be on the floor

What if we met at Molly's, maybe johnq would let you hide behind the bar?

I can try to make some get together - I like the idea of an outdoors place - Cove, Conestoga Bar and Grill, Roseville Tavern is cool too. Maybe we can set up a chat session where we can brainstorm! That little chat room up there never gets used!

After reading this article I decided to check it out for myself. The transformation is amazing. The place looks great! Food was good and staff was friendly. I think they are still working out the kinks but overall it was a good experience. I'm looking forward to going back.

My wife is a big fan of Greek night (last Friday of the month) at the Red Rose Restaurant. Tonight was the first one since the renovations, so we ate there tonight.

The food was the same, but the prices were MUCH higher, I'm guessing around 30% more. The decor was very nice, but I miss all of the pictures of downtown Lancaster past and present; instead of being something unique to Lancaster, now it could be just about any restaurant, just about anywhere. There seemed to be about the same number of seats, but some were at the bar (no takers while we were there, people were waiting in line for a table), and some are at high tables with high chairs that are uncomfortable for people like us. One of our guests commented that the waitresses weren't dressed very nice in comparison to the fancy new decor.

Is the food good? As good as always, but the higher prices are a turn-off.

Is the decor nice? Yes, but it no longer feels like Lancaster inside.

Is the bar a good idea? No one used it in the hour we were there.
