Your writing style seems awfully familiar. Instead of busting on the Amish we just redirected to the Catholics?

Here we go again. You guys just won't stop.

Interesting. This is the reaction I hypothesized when I wrote my first post.

You guys are hilarious. Self righteous and judgmental, but funny just the same. And you claim I am a rule maker?

I love the Jews, and I love my Catholic brothers and sisters in Christ. Hagee has some things right but is a little out of it which is similar to Barack Hussein Obama's Pastor Mr. Wright.

One source in the story notes, " it wasn't hard to tell those who knew the Latin Mass” Of course you can tell . Nobody but the old and the Priest knows what's going on. It's group exercise in Transcendental Meditation. Go to a yoga class if you want to burn patchouli incense and chant under your breath.

The Church has a long, sordid history of forcing distance between parishioners and the word of God, up to and including forbidding private ownership of Bibles (see The Madeiran Exiles, for example). A lot of work has since been done to heal that divide, but it's hardly surprising, given the sex scandals and associated corruption and mismanagement charges in the Church, that the Catholic leadership would gravitate toward the old "noble priest class" again and try to keep worshipers at arms length.

Martin Luther was right. This system is busted beyond repair.

38 years of nonsense. so spare me the "You just don't understand the beauty and solemnity of it all" nonsense.

Latin is a dead language for good reason. Didn't Christ speak Aramaic?

You might want to check out Matthew 7:1-5 -- and continue to re-read your hostile attack-posts -- it might be a good idea to deal with the beams in your own eyes before you start gouging at the specks in your brother's and sister's eyes with ice picks.

I didn't think the kid could string that many sentances together.

I love the Amish, especially the Modern Mennonites, most are not judgmental or hypocritical in their actions.

"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites
are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in
the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.
Verily I say unto you, They have their reward."
Incense, Latin, Idol worship, Mary worship? Is that Ok ? Don't think so from the words of our Man Matthew,

How about the rosary, saying the same thing over and over – Have any of you read this:

"In praying, do not babble like the pagans, who think that they will
be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them.
Your Father knows what you need before you ask him."

Explore your faith people. I am not doing this to hate, I am doing this because I love all of you and want you to see that the only way to God is through his SON.

If there is anyone out there that has questions regarding practicing Catholicism I urge you to buy the book "The Gospel According to Rome" Grab you're Bible and go off for a few days and study both books.

It will open your eyes.

This person loves the Amish rules out KirkwoodKid revisited!

Btw, were you aware that the Amish Bishop preaches in a different form of German than what the children are taught and adult Amish speak? They, too, have little or no clue of what is being taught from their pulpits.

So are you now going to start a crusade against that, too? Just asking.
