There are many unresolved questions surrounding this case. Even the "Court of Arbitration for Sport" questioned how the laboratory tests were performed, but then it went on to ignore its own findings in its final decision.
This incident, among others (remember the unsuccessful smear campaign against Lance Armstrong?), has cast a permanent dark cloud over the "sport" of professional bicycle racing. There is even a related local scandal: the "Red Rose Races" fiasco.
Fortunately, there are no longer any "professional" bicycle races in Lancaster City, and few that pass through the county. Lancaster has enough issues of its own, without getting entangled in the international power plays that are disguised as "sport".
And there are many answered questions like: Both specimens tested positive!
Everything else is smoke screens and mirrors. He said he tests high naturally but never showed any evidence that he did so in the past. If the test were so poorly conducted why didn’t he get his own tests?
It’s pathetic to see this guy, (and his supporters and apologists) denying the obvious truth.
HE’S GUILTY!
