This ticks me off. Many honest, hard working people are working their tails off to pay ever increasing taxes, amongst many things. Than we hear that our money is misused in such an arrogant way.

I hope those that are caught in this scandal and serve at local government levels such as municipality supervisors and council people, have enough of integrity to resign from those positions.

"In my personal and political dealings with them, Scott and Jen were among the finest and most decent people I have known," Beardsley said. "They worked in a highly politicized Harrisburg environment that had become toxic. They were not policymakers. They followed orders.

Beardsley needs to get out more and meet some new people. Brubaker was quick to poison the political waters in Lancaster for Chairman Chet Beiler when he violated voter registration rules by (gasp) paying piece-rate (instead of hourly) for new voter registrations. Talk about "what goes around comes around"!
