It's a gas
Kitchen Kettle Village wants to pump up your gas budget.
More than nine village stores are participating in the "Got Gas" program, offering customers a $5 Wawa gas gift card for every $50 spent in the shops.
The promotion runs through July 31.
Located off Route 340, Intercourse, the village offers 30 specialty shops, lodging, and eight restaurants and eateries, including the Jam and Relish Kitchen, where visitors can watch jams, jellies and relishes made in open kettles.

Diamonds in the roughage
Eat salads, help kids and win a diamond.
Summer Salads for Kids, a benefit for the S. June Smith Center, continues through Saturday, July 26.
A portion of proceeds from salad sales at 12 county restaurants will go to the nonprofit center, which serves children with disabilities.
In addition, salad supporters will have a chance to win a !-W-carat Ocean Blue Diamond, valued at $1,800, from Brent L. Miller Jewelers & Goldsmiths.

Home run for Schreiber
Thanks to 50 teams of softball players — and a car show — the Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center raised more than $50,000 at its recent benefit in Mountville.
The top fundraising team was the Manheim Struggling Farmers, which contributed more than $16,000. Team members were also top individual fundraisers, including Barry Geib, Brian Geib, Shawn Weaver, Dwight Aungst and Steven Faus.
The car show featured 50 vehicles.
The nonprofit center serves nearly 4,000 young people with disabilities annually.
