I'm glad he is alright also, but what concerns me is his attitude. The reason it happens more and more is because of people like him that allow this to happen. He didn't mind calling 911 when he was shot, but only grabbed his "belly buster" instead of a phone to call 911 about a shootout. I guess his belly was more important then the neighborhood he lives in
My exact same thoughts, Grumpy. If you are going to gripe that the world (or your neighborhood) is going to hell, then you need to do whatever you can to help correct it. If you don't like the way tweens and teens act, volunteer -- boys & girls club, scouts, big brothers/big sisters, etc. Be a role model, instead of the person sitting on the front porch yelling "get off my lawn, you punks" and griping that "someone needs to do something". Just look in the mirror and
see the someone who needs to do something. If you aren't part of the solution, you are a part of the problem.

I'm not sure I understand this part. It seems that if hadn't stood up, he wouldn't have been hit.
Maybe he thinks it would have gone in the front of his head if he hadn't turned around, and that may have been more dangerous? Who knows
