This sounds like a nice tour, especially for the multi-time and somewhat knowledgable visitor or those serious about learning more about the Amish. I would take the tour myself on my next visit if I didn't already have several Amish friends in the area. I'm just puzzled why anyone would make a trip to Lancaster County ostensibly to see the Amish and learn about their way of life without reading up at least a little on the Amish beforehand. I mean some of the questions tourists have are just plain ignorant, like the board between the couples in bed or not knowing they have appliances, running water, etc. Geez, at the least check out the wikipedia article on the Amish (which is excellent, by the way). And the one couple were from Sarasota, FL which has an Amish settlement nearby!
