THURSDAY: As bands go, rock/alternative country band Everclear is no exception. The longer its history, the more its configurations. Everclear's current lineup — founding member Art Alexakis (lead vocals, guitar), Davey French (guitar), Sam Hudson (bass), Josh Crawley (keyboards) and Tommy Stewart, former Godsmack and Fuel drummer who just joined up this month - will perform tonight at 7 at the Chameleon. The Underwater and Stinging Nettles are the supporting bands. Formed in Portland, Oregon in 1992, the band, through its various incarnations, has a growing library of records. Tickets are $18 at the door.

FRIDAY: You won't be laughing at Brian Regan's jokes at any comedy club. It's not because he isn't funny. He's got a slew of awards and TV appearances that say he is. But Regan is that rare comedian who has "graduated" from clubs to theater venues. His cross-country tour brings him to the Hershey Theatre tonight at 8. Tickets are $36.50. A funny guy since breaking into the scene after college a quarter century ago, Regan has become a late-night TV regular and can often be seen on Showtime and Comedy Central. His humor is known for its appeal to a wide range of audiences, from college kids to seniors. Call 534-3405.

SATURDAY: Engines will be revving and tastebuds tingling today as the New Holland Summer Fest continues from Friday, with its adult barbecue competition and motorcycle show. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the New Holland Community Memorial Park on East Jackson Street, the spicy smells of finger-lickin' barbecue sauce will draw in hungry passers by. That food isn't for eating, however — only judging. There will be plenty of other offerings for visitors. Today's fun also includes a motorcycle ride (from 8 to 10 a.m.), the cycle show and live music by the Rock 'n Roll Time Machine.

SUNDAY: If you love all things Italian, head over to Rosa Rosa Ristorante Italiano at 398 Harrisburg Pike, for the second annual Italian Festival. Running from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., rain or shine, the festival will include lots of food of course, bocce ball, and plenty of Italian music in the air. Try your luck at a raffle and win a trip to Italy. And if you believe there's no such thing as too much of a good thing, you can sign up for the pasta or the cannoli eating contests. Check out their website to get more details or to sign up: www.rosarosaristoranteitaliano.com or call 509-3970.
