Nine Lancaster County companies have been included on this year's Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in the country.
The awards will be presented at a national conference in September in Washington, D.C.
NxtBook Media, of Lancaster, was 303rd on the list with a 922.4 percent growth rate from 2004 through 2007. It is listed with $4.6 million in revenue in 2007 and 44 employees. It was the 13th fastest-growing company in Pennsylvania and 38th in the nation among business service companies.
GetMyHomesValue.com, of Lancaster, was 386th overall with 785.7 percent growth. It is listed with $3 million in revenue and 60 employees. It was ranked 18th in the state and 16th among the nation's real estate companies.
HVAC Distributors, of Mount Joy, was 3,952 on the list with 75 percent growth, $33.4 million in revenue and 80 employees.
Dutch Valley Auto Works, of Lancaster, was 4,269th with 63.6 percent growth, $2.6 million in revenue and 22 employees. It was ranked 78th in the nation among transportation companies.
The Benecon Group, of Leola, was 4,419 on the list with 58.2 percent growth, $15.2 million in revenue and 48 employees. It was 40th in the nation among insurance companies. It was 4,729 on the 2007 list.
Amelia's, of New Holland, was 4,699 on the list with 49.5 percent growth, $29.4 million in revenue and 310 employees.
The firm geographIT, of Lancaster, was 4,716 on the list with 49.1 percent growth, $2.3 million in revenue and 20 employees. It was 3,728 on the 2007 list.
The Jay Group, of Lancaster, was 4,771 on the list with 47.5 percent growth, $47.3 million in revenue and 533 employees. It was 3,709 on the 2007 list.
Mervin Zimmerman, of Lititz, was 4,854 on the list with 45.1 percent growth, $4.7 million in revenue and 54 employees.
