QUOTE (Merch @ Aug 29 2008, 11:40 AM)
Really? We have repeat offenders doing MUCH MORE serious crimes and there is little to no outcry. A second time DUI offender should never be allowed to drive again? A second time vandal should never be allowed to buy spray paint/eggs/toilet paper?

Yes, she needs punished. Obvious disregard for laws is inexcusable. But I do not believe she should be punished forever.

That logic is backwards. Instead of going soft on parole violators for kennel laws we should be harder on the other offenders you mentioned. Let's make sure a second time DUI offender never drives again AND make sure this woman never owns dogs again.

I agree with that completely. I would also like to make an observation regarding another thread that i can't find at the moment. It is ironic that it's easier to remove a dog that is in danger from their home than it is a child. Pretty sick, actually.........LOL

Don't assume anything! My daughter reported the other day that her friend is sad because her divorcing parents seem to be fighting more over the custody of the dog than over the custody of her and her brother.
