My top notch private school degree allows me to be able to take a day off and enjoy is catching up with friends and visiting my brother.

Lunch is all afternoon? A BLT and a pint takes hours to consume? You are serious ate up. Life isn't all about being at work.

It's funny! My top notch education allows me to play golf while having a "meeting"! Yours allows you to seemingly be able to nuke a Healthy Choice.

I respect my customers and employers to the degree that i find it not appropiate to drink at lunch and than return to work. I guess a private school education helps develop the skill to not have respect for clinets and employers and to only care about oneself. I'm really sorry I missed out on that.

Did you miss the day off part? What about wine at a dinner meeting? What about buying drinks for your clients?

Know your clients, just don't sell them a product.

Just what is a clinet and why should I respect it? Oh, nevermind............a private school education would have given you the answer to that one.

Millersvile University was once a fine institution. I was a student there, I worked there as a student, and I worked there after graduating as full time staff. I left the univeristy community because I came to the realization that the administration and management was more concerned with image and money than with providing a safe, educational, and affordable environment. In recent years I have seen the rise of what I would call unacceptable behaviour at the University and when ever any one says anything about it they are told by senior staff and management that that is part of the students culture and we could not hinder them or tell them to cease the behaviour. I still live in Millersville and I do not feel safe walking the streets at night, especially on a friday or saturday. In the past three years there have been shootings, stabings, rapes, and assaults occur either on campus or just off. The drug trafficing on and around campus has increased significantly in the past several years. Who is to blame, I do not really know, but I do know that the University could be doing a lot more to help eliminate these issues. As was stated in a previous post the University has been pushing student to off campus housing where they are no longer under the jurisdiction of the University. It used to be that you would live all four years of your college tenure on campus, now you are lucky if you live there more than one. There has been a push that last several years to get the students to move to Student Lodging, Inc. properties as soon as possible. It is now possible for an incoming freshman to live in an off-campus dorm, and a sophomore can live in any SLI property, Brookwood, Healthy Living, Shenks Hall or Reighard Hall. Nothing against SLI but it is a business and it's primary purpose is to make money and it is very good at it's business. Did you know it costs 4 students sharing a suite in Shenks over $2500 a month to live there, Reighard is over $1800 a month for 2 students sharing a former hotel room. They are now charging $100 if you lose your parking placard a piece of laminated paper that probably cost $3 a piece. The university is not much better. Try eating at the Galley (formerly the Cafe De Ville) and see what the prices of food are on campus and let me know what you thought of the quality of your meal when you do. The quality of the food has gone down drastically in the past few years while the prices have gone significantly higher. Millersville was once a great institution, I can sadly no longer say that.
