East Hempfield Township police have identified a man killed in a one-vehicle car crash early Friday morning as Anthony Bohrn, 22, of East Petersburg.

Bohrn died when the Mitsubishi Eclipse he was driving flipped over and landed in a field in the 1500 block of Landisville Road, according to East Hempfield Police Officer Kevin Waltz.

The accident happened at 3:33 a.m., Waltz said.

Waltz said Bohrn, of 2528 Chrismar Way, East Petersburg, was driving alone in the car and wearing a seatbelt.

Waltz said Bohrn was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Friday afternoon, Waltz said police are trying to determine what caused the crash, but weather was not a factor.

"Weather conditions were good. The roads were dry," Waltz said. "We're still determining speed calculations and will have more information in the next couple of days."

East Petersburg Fire Department and Susquehanna Valley EMS assisted at the scene.
